I do try and keep a clean and tidy desktop with a minimalist wallpaper or one that matches well with my current theme. As this one does!
This one is from my laptop running Windows XP: Media Center Edition.
As you can see I have an RK Launcher for the apps I use most on the right hand side of the screen that appears when I hover my mouse over to the right and disappears when I remove it.
You can lock your XP workstation with two clicks of the mouse. Create a new shortcut on your desktop using a right mouse click, and enter...
"rundll32.exe user32.dll,LockWorkStation"
...in the location field. Give the shortcut a name you like. That's it -- just double click on it and your computer will be locked.
To change the icon from that dull piece of paper, just right click it and select "Properties". Under the 'Shortcut' tab select 'Change Icon' and put ...
"%SystemRoot%\system32\SHELL32.dll"
...in the box and click 'Browse', then just pick an icon and hit 'OK' and 'Apply'.
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
When it comes to community spirit, `Rushy is a shining example. From participating in devmeets, to providing positive encouragement to other artists, `Rushy can always be found demonstrating what it really takes to be a true deviant. It's without any hesitation that we are delighted to award the Deviousness Award for July 2009 to `RushyRead More
