Artist's Comments
This wallpaper was made from an image of Porco Rosso using GIMP. The newspaper clippings in the foreground were made using an online newspaper clipping maker. The other newspaper images were found on a Google search, I used a couple of Italian clippings to keep in the feel of the film. The large clippings with titles: "Porco Rosso" and "Crimson Pig", show translations of the newspapers we see Porco reading at two points in the film. I put a small drop shadow beside the Porco render and applied a sepia toning effect to the newspaper backdrop.
